| Sharing & Division takes your child through the stages necessary to master and have a full understanding of this fundamental
mathematical process.
The initial stage is the concept of sharing between 2 and 3. Familiar objects are used initially to help the child`s comprehension - in this instance, coconuts or ice-creams, which are clicked on and dragged to reinforce the sharing element. In common with all `Genius` programs, each learning stage is thoroughly demonstrated with detailed animations and a helpful commentary, using the many advantages of multimedia in the learning process. After each demonstration, the child puts concepts into practice by answering questions about the material covered. As the program progresses, symbols replace images and the cd moves on from sharing to the use of text book division. While Sharing & Division stretches your child, it never pushes too hard. Learning is always at an appropriate level and completely stress-free. New lessons are only introduced when fundamental concepts have been grasped. In this way, the program leads your child gently from familiar to new learning in the simplest possible steps. When confidence has been gained, children can go straight to the test questions. Sharing & Division is an educationally sound program which is also visually stimulating and great fun to use.

| As a parent, you know that times tables are one of the most important early skills that your children must learn. Now, help is at hand to encourage children with what can be a routine and boring chore. Using colourful graphics and animations, talking tables motivates children to learn and starts them off on the right foot by covering the basic but vital two, three, four, five and ten times tables.
Featuring the basic Genius range concept of always linking new learning to something the child has already mastered, the programs use familiar images. The two times table uses clowns and soldiers (for example a clown has two legs so four clowns have eight legs and 4x2=8 ). The three times table uses tricycles. Dogs help teach the four times table and starfish the five times. The ten times table is illustrated by bunches of grapes. At the end of each exercise, children progress to see all the tables set out on the screen as though written on a page. Children choose which tables to work on with the mouse. They us the keyboard`s number keys to type in answers to table sums.
